Description
This year’s edition of the 100 Accomplished Black Canadian Women, follows for the most part, the format of the first three editions which were published in 2016, 2018 and 2020 respectively. The goal continues to be to highlight, document and acknowledge Black Canadian Women in terms of their social, educational, political and professional achievements. The previous editions were highly acclaimed by the public. The 2018 edition received glowing reports from libraries that were very happy to add the edition to their shelves and the Toronto Public Library (TPL) also recognized the edition as one of the best to read during Black History Month (BHM). With such encouraging feedback, the co-authors forged ahead in finding another 100 women for the 2022 edition.
